Elisha's Pantry

Elisha's Pantry is an interfaith outreach program serving our Bennett Valley and Rincon Valley neighbors through gifts of food and kindness.

The pantry officially opened on Thursday, July 28, and will be open on Thursdays from 4:00-5:30 pm. [More on food pantry]  

UMCOR Coffee Project

Christ Church has purchased Fair Trade Coffee through UMCOR's (United Methodist Committee on Relief) Coffee Project, and we are now serving fair trade French Roast coffee on Sunday mornings. This coffee is also available for sale to members of the church at $6 for a 10-oz bag. [More on coffee project]

Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County

Our local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity is entering a “continuous building” phase. Two homes in west Santa Rosa are under construction now, and hopefully four more homes in the next year or two at the same location. Other property is being negotiated in Sebastopol and Cotati.  [More]

Harvest for the Hungry Garden

The Harvest for the Hungry Garden was founded in 1987 by Muchtar Salzmann, owner of Emerisa Gardens, and Marge Cerleti, both of whom wanted to do something about hunger in their community. Christ Church loaned them the use of a 3/4 acre parcel of land behind the church, as part of its contribution to helping to feed low-income residents in Sonoma County. [More]

Amnesty International

About once a month, we invite people to stay after the worship service to write letters on behalf of political prisoners through Amnesty International.

E-Scrip

Christ Church is registered with escrip, which is a fundraising program introduced by Electronic Scrip Inc (ESI). It allows participating merchants to contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to Christ Church. At no cost to you, you can raise funds for Christ Church as you go about your daily shopping. To find a list of participating merchants, click on this link.
