Acts
of God™ is a drama
performance group dedicated to making the Bible entertaining and
accessible. In addition to their scriptural dramas and comedies,
they present other pieces with themes of interest to people who
approach life from both a faith-based and intellectually curious
perspective. [More]
The music is contemporary and upbeat. Our Choir
Director is Grace Schulman, a member of our own
congregation. The
choir sings a variety of music that adds vibrancy to our
services.
Our
accompanist, Carl
Sokol, helps set the mood with jazz, gospel, classical, and other
styles of music, often improvised on the spot. The hymns are
generally from a Songbook created by Christ Church, or from two
United Methodist hymnbooks: The Faith We Sing and The UMC
Hymnal.

We invite children to come into the sanctuary with
their parents or grandparents when they arrive for worship, and join
in the “Time With Our Children” before leaving for
their multi-grade Sunday School. There is Nursery Care for
infants and toddlers for the entire service. We enjoy including our
children in many aspects of our life together -- everything from
lighting candles on Sunday mornings, sharing in the prayers, and to
participating in Acts of God™ drama group. Many of our activities
are child-friendly. [More]

ages are invited to bring a sack lunch; drinks and dessert are
provided; in the church Conference Room.
The annual
Christ Church Women's Retreat is an opportunity to grow closer in community, deepen our friendships and form new ones by talking, laughing, planning, games, and sharing our lives.
The 2010 retreat took place at the Angela Center in Santa Rosa, CA.

Sunday Morning
Service Opportunities
Greeters
When worshipers arrive on Sunday morning, they are
greeted by a team of welcoming people who can answer questions,
help introduce newcomers, and offer hospitality. Inquire at the
church office on how to join the greeters team.
Altar Flowers
For
the worship service on Sundays, we welcome members of the
congregation to offer a flower arrangement on the altar. You may
like to offer it as a special celebration, dedication, or
memorial. If you're interested, please contact the church office
at (707) 542-2569 and let us know which Sunday you'd like to make
the offer for.
